In collaboration with Eneco, Respyre conducted a pilot to revitalize the unused space at the footers of windmills. By implementing bioreceptive solutions, they aim to counteract the loss of greenery caused by windmills’ bases, as these structures often occupy significant space. This innovative approach seeks to maximize the potential for green areas around windmills, promoting biodiversity and sustainability while harmonizing renewable energy infrastructure with nature’s beauty. The project represents a promising step towards making wind energy and green spaces coexist harmoniously.
