Meet Our Team
Auke Bleij
CEO
Auke is responsible for establishing the core team, setting out the strategy and maintaining good relations with stakeholders.
Auke’s background as civil engineer and constructor help him to understand, explain and expand Respyre’s technology. His humanly approach helps him to establish long term relations.
André Simões
Plant Biologist
André’s focus the research of moss. He looks at the conditions in which mosses thrive, how they effect the surface they grow upon and how they benefit the environment they live in.
After his masters in Biochemistry he is completely equipped to increase Respyre’s database of information on all our different moss species.
Matthijs Versteegen
Project Manager
Matthijs manages all the projects that Respyre performs. This includes staying in contact with our clients and making sure we have the right materials to use during our projects.
With his Bachelors in Science Business and Innovation he is the perfect fit for this position!
Adil Aarouss
Business Developer
One of Adil’s priorities lies on the development of our mos-gel. Additionally, he works together with Auke at the development of Respyre as a business.
Adil has finished his Masters in Chemical Engineering at the TU Delft and is now ready to use all his knowledge and bring Respyre to the next level.
Ronan Kok
Head Branding
Ronan handles the appearance of Respyre. Everything you see, he creates. This includes, Respyre’s social media, website, video production, clothing and much more.
With his background in content creation, love for nature, and studies in language, he is very happy to put his skills to use at Respyre.
